Circular Economy IL
The Israeli Circular Economy IL Platform is uniquely recognized by the official European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (A joint initiative by the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee) as an Israeli actor on national, regional and international levels to integrate new resource strategies and circular based business models with Israeli innovation capabilities.
Recognizing the importance of adopting a sustainable way of human behavior, the circular economy model aims to achieve a sustainable economic growth, by breaking the link between economic development and non-efficient consumption of resources.
By structural changes such as redesign, reuse and re-production, using innovation and new business models, materials and their value remain in the circle of production & consumption instead of ending up in the garbage, such as is the linear model.
